When someone at BA HQ's finger slipped last week and launched their Boxing Day sale early, it meant it was only a matter of time until Virgin Atlantic threw their hat in the ring. And in other (unsurprising) news, it's almost a carbon copy.  

Both sales will be active until the end of January, so you've got time to compare and choose who you'd prefer to fly with.

Honourable mention to the non-stop fares from London to Toronto, which have dropped into the £300s rtn with the airline, which is a better deal than last week's if you're a light packer or prefer booking with the airline.
