At this time of year, the busy streets are filled with traditional lanterns, market stalls selling festive snacks, and some seriously impressive light displays.

You'll find some of the best ones over at Yuyuan Garden's annual lantern show, where they celebrate the new year by installing heaps of colourful and intricate lanterns that represent different creatures from Chinese mythology — look how cool this one is!
