India 🇮🇳 in $700s-$810s RT

Let's take a journey through India, via the food!

We'll start in Mumbai, with the Bombay sandwich. Just like its namesake city, it's quite the melting pot — a British format with some Portuguese ingredients, but transformed into something totally Indian and totally Mumbai.

In Kochi, we're having appam and stew. Appam is the flatbread, and the stew is full of veggies, coconut milk, and spices. It's the ultimate warm-you-up-from-inside comfort food.

You'll find chaat all over India, but in Bangalore (and most of Karnataka), masala puri is king. You can grab this savory veggie mix from roadside stands all over the city.

We'll stop in Nagpur for a quick dessert: orange barfi. Barfi (a fudgelike sweet made with condensed milk) is everywhere, but the orange flavor is a famous Nagpur treat. The most iconic spot to buy it is Haldirams, where you can get a whole gift box.

Not that you'll be sharing :-)
