Sorry, La Jolla, but Barbados might have the most beautiful sea cave we've ever seen.

It's called Animal Flower Cave, and it's the only cavern on the island's rugged northern coast that you can actually reach. Once you've carefully picked your way down the steep coral steps, you'll be rewarded with some positively jaw-dropping views of the ocean. Time your visit right, and you might even spot a humpback whale passing by.

Oh, and if you're wondering what an "animal flower" is, that's just another name for these colorful critters that hang out in the cave's salt water pools. We have to admit, it rolls off the tongue a lot more nicely than "anemone" :-)
