Scottish Highlands in $700s-$750s RT

If there's one thing we Canadians are good at, it's a road trip. 

Now imagine all the freedom and fun of a road trip... but through the dramatic, castle-encrusted Scottish Highlands. 

Since we have an expert Scots-woman on the team, I am going to hand it over to our Detour Editor, Katy, to teach us how to plan a proper Scottish road trip. 

Wee dip with a lake monster non-optional, of course :-)

PS: I took a mini trip to the Isle of Skye last December, and I can't recommend it enough. For an experience like no other, rent a sleeping bag and hike out to a bothy for a night. I promise you won't regret it!
