Although Slovenia is a little small, it's jam-packed with sooooo much picture perfect scenery that you could spend ages there stumbling upon new places.

We're talking about a huge network of mystical caves lurking underground, a castle sitting high above the city, and serene lakes of beautiful blue water, like Lake Bled, and the lesser known Lake Bohinj.

But even if you just want to stick to Ljubljana, we've heard the city of dragons is pretty great too :-)
