The Amazon Rainforest at $416 RT

The rain and mosquitos might both be pretty plentiful... but so are the views. And the animals. And the beautiful, serene sunsets.

There's truly nothing else on Earth like the Amazon rainforest. It covers about 2.6 million square miles, and contains around 10% of the planet's species. You could fit the entire state of Georgia inside it 45 times.

And Manaus is the perfect place to start!

A region this huge comes with many options for visiting. The most common is to pick a jungle lodge, which usually offer kayaking and hiking. These lodges often have pretty cushy rooms, so it's a great way to see the jungle without sacrificing comfort.
