Fairbanks & Anchorage, Alaska
in €520s-€570s rtn from Germany
Welcome to Alaska!
This is the first time Fairbanks has landed in your inbox, so here are some ideas of what you can do there:
- Northern Lights: With the chance of seeing them from August through to April, this city is one of the best places to find those dancing green lights—look how beautiful!
- Denali National Park: Just over 2 hrs away from the city, you'll be surrounded by beautiful nature, wildlife, and loads of hiking or biking trails through the mountains.
- Dog sledding: In summer you can get whisked through forest trails, but in winter, you'll go gliding over the glistening snow and feel like Santa—juuuuust don't tell Rudolph about Alaska's hot dogs...
P.S. these trips also work as an open jaw! Here's an example itinerary, but it basically means that you'll fly straight to Fairbanks, take a road trip or the train to Anchorage, and then hop on the plane home :-)
