How do you really dive deep into a culture?

Sure, you can go to the pivnice round the corner and entertain a few ice-cold pilsners. Orrrr, you can throw yourself into its cultural scene!

A couple of months ago, my friend (and Prague local), Kamil, decided to gift me a ticket to go see a Czech masterpiece at Prague State Opera, during the weekend I was gonna be in town.

Not only I got to visit one of the most stunning Renaissance palaces in the heart of the city, but I made the best out of its lovely bistro, its majestic terrace, and mingled with the — extremely well-dressed — locals.

Plus, I got to discover Dvořák's Rusalka — or, the Czech little mermaid :-)
