But before you even spot one of those cuties frolicking around the turquoise waters, you may ask yourself — is it sustainable?

Considering there aren't any laws put in place to protect the pigs, the answer is a lil tricky.

Here are a couple tips, if you really don't wanna give it a miss:

• Don't chase the pigs down the beach, let them come to you.
• When you get closer, be respectful when interacting with them — they really don’t like being picked up.
• You're allowed to feed the pigs vegetables, fruits (apples and watermelon) and bread, just don't offer them processed food.
