Vancover Island in $160s-$280s RT

You've probably all heard it: "You have to see Vancouver Island at least once in your lifetime" 

Yeah, good luck. You'll come for one crisp fall and do exactly that.

Fall. 

Head over heels with the wild roar of the Pacific and distinct lack of soul-crushing winter (DC, Denver, we're looking at you), and before you know it, you're in a Kijiji trance, scrolling ads titled "Lightly Used Sprinter—Perfect for Van Life!".  

Tofino's a hotspot for storm watchers in the fall and winter months, and Comox? Ooofh, absolute paradise to those preferring peace and quiet among valleys and vineyards—Strathcona Provincial Park boasts some of the best hikes on the island! Think alpine lakes, glacier-fed rivers, and even more remote landscapes further north. 

Seriously, with way fewer crowds than Victoria and better access to the island's surreal scenery, the North makes it easier to discover for yourself what makes BC supernatural. Careful though; spend enough time on Salt Spring Island and you'll discover an entirely different meaning of the word...

And with any luck, a few days of sea spray and cedar air, your new van's name will reveal itself.
