Start the day with a little solar-powered charge on the pristine shores of Diani Beach. When the midday heat hits, it's time to grab a snorkel and dive into the blue hues of the Mombasa Marine National Park.

Home to colourful corals, sea turtles and even dolphins, you could easily spend a good few hours exploring the park's thriving reefs.

By the afternoon, it's time to trade turquoise waters for the grassy plains of Shimba Hills Reserve, just an hour's drive away. This is one of the best times to head out on a game drive, since elephants and antelope are way more active during the cooler hours of the day :-)
