And catching up with her after her vacay, she's got one more tip to share:

"If you're not planning on renting a car like me,  using Brindisi as a base was the best move we could've made to see larger cities in the region (e.g. Lecce, Bari) and inland cities (Ostuni), but if you want to get to the beach, I’d still recommend staying in Monopoli or further down south along the water"
