But not too hot. Andalusian winters are balmy and mild, so you won't be soaked in sweat when you finish that famous cliffside hike. And when we say "cliffside" here, we mean it literally.

Of course, if heights aren't your thing, you can keep your feet on the ground and tour Andalusia's impossibly charming pueblos blancos instead. Named for their white-painted walls (to reflect the sun), these pretty little villages are scattered all over the area. The most popular views are in Ronda, but we think Grazalema and Setenil de las Bodegas are just as spectacular.

Oh, and no Andalusian trip would be complete without a journey underground... :-)
