While we typically have a special eye-roll dedicated to those trendy listicles proclaiming things like "The best places to travel to in 2024" we have to agree, they might be onto something with Cartagena —  it's downright impossible not to succumb to the allure of this sultry Caribbean city!

Blame it on the intoxicating blend of bougainvillea, and the salty tang of the sea, a combination that casts a spell, lingering long after your trip!

Like all great seductions, it starts with an irresistible feast for the eyes: a blinding skyline, curving gracefully along miles of golden coast, tracing a seamless path to pastel-hued, old-town. 

At dusk, fixation turns feverish under the candlelit glow of the city's steamy salsa clubs, the rhythm spilling onto its streets until the early hours.
