Just because you land in Venice, doesn't mean you have to holiday in Venice...

Give the overcrowded canals a wide berth and hop in a rental car straight outta the airport — you're heading on a Dolomites road trip!

If you're a newbie to driving on the right, fear not. The highways are wide, straightforward, and full of signs, so you shouldn't feel too out of your depth. Worst-case scenario, the reliably strong GPS signal will always have ya back. 

But then again, with shockingly turquoise mountain lakes, hilltop chocolate box villages and roadside pasta pit stops lining your route, you probably won't spend that much time behind the wheel :-)
