Did you know Toulouse is nicknamed 'La Ville Rose' (aka, the pink city)?

This city's traditional buildings are known for their distinct pinkish-orange bricks, and people have really leant into it by creating perfectly pink cafés like this one.

But fear not, it's not all Barbie-esque! Just north of the city centre you'll find the peaceful Pierre-Baudis Japanese Garden, which is the perfect place to watch the world go by while munching on a croissant or two.

Besides, you can't argue with a 30 quid return flight to France can you :-)
