And the winner of the most scenic town in Morocco goes to...

Chefchaouen, of course! I mean, it's hard to argue with those perfectly uneven passages, mosaiced door frames and time-worn steps — especially when it's all draped in a soothing shade of cornflower blue.

Plus, the wall-climbing pot plants and needy street cats really help to seal the deal.

Visiting it is kinda tricky, though, since it doesn't have an airport or train station. But, these cheap flights to Tangier are the best place to start, since it's just over a 2-hour drive away.

After landing, you can hop on one of the 3 bus services running between Tangier and Chefchaouen every day. Or, if you're travelling with friends, you could also hire a private driver, which may even work out cheaper if there's enough of you :-)
