Sydney, Australia
in €720s-€870s rtn
Buckle up, this one's worth a look!
First off, we'll start by saying some of you haven't seen Sydney land in your inbox for over 5(!) years at worst, and about a year and a half at best. Because of that, when we spotted these fares through online travel agencies, we thought it would be rude if we didn't share them! Koalas and kangaroos, here we come...
Well, before you get clicking, booking with an OTA means:
- You'll be booking through a third-party site, where prices can fluctuate more often than you'd normally expect.
- If you have a problem with your booking, or you need to make a change, OTAs can be difficult to contact (and can charge high change fees).
- For those travelling from Amsterdam, your booking is with two separate airlines (XiamenAir on the way to Sydney, and Garuda on the way home). The OTA will allow you to pay for both together, but each airline has a different baggage allowance and other policies, so it's worth looking those up before booking.
If you're still unsure, read our guide to OTAs here.
FYI, we've spotted fares that work with the airline directly from Copenhagen (just enter your dates on China Eastern's website), but you'll likely have a 12hr+ layover in China, versus the 6hr-7hr layovers we've found below.
