Oh hell yes, we almost never get a chance to talk about Sri Lanka! Let's see how much we can get through in one email:

So we've got ancient ruins, ancient temples, modern temples, fancy temples, tea plantations, foggy mountains, sacred mountains, sacred statues, floating markets, non-floating markets, beaches, jungles, elephants, leopards, whale watching, bird watching, people watching...

[exhales]

...oh, and the food is absolutely mouthwatering.

That's just scratching the surface :-)

P.S. Most of these fares include a 12-24 hour layover in Hong Kong, but you can't really complain about a free day in one of the world's coolest cities, right?
