Split, Croatia in $420s-$450s RT

We weren't kidding about the beauty of Slovenia, but Croatia has one big thing that they just don't have: thousands of miles of coastline! Split is on the end of a peninsula in an already beach-covered country, so it's positively glittering with turquoise Mediterranean shores. 

And if that's somehow not enough coast for you, there's also a ton of different islands that you can reach via ferry. Hitch a ride to Biševo, and you can float through a grotto that you really have to see to believe. We promise no neon was involved, even if it looks like it :-)
