Québec City in $220s-$300s RT

One useful piece of advice for anglophones visiting this city: The fastest way to get the Québecois to speak English is by speaking terrible French. 

So march in with your best bonjours and s'il vous plaits, and unless your pronounciation is up to local standards, you'll probably get English back. I spent months on Duolingo in preparation for my time in la Ville de Québec, only to have everyone immediately switch to English so they didn't have to hear me speak French

And no matter what languages you speak, I suggest staying in Old Town — you just might think your plane got lost and brought you to Europe! Wander the winding cobblestone alleyways, devour the local terroir, and teach yourself all the most important French words by reading restaurant menus :-)
