Like the layers of a perfectly baked croissant, this multi-trip is impossible to resist tearing into! Especially when it means some seriously underrated cities (and islands) all for the cost of a regular round trip. 

Here's the scoop: You'll start and end your trip in Paris, before making your way to Lyon, France's undisputed foodie city. Nestled between the Rhône and Saône rivers, it's a literal feast for the senses — this is where Paul Bocuse turned sauces into high art (RIP, legend). 

A quick non-stop flight transports you to the French island of Corsica. You know the one, it sits right above Sardinia. Figari's on the southern tip, where vineyards meet the sea.

We suggest renting a car, winding along the coastal roads, stopping only for sunsets and a swim in one of many seaside villages. With any luck, you'll follow the roads to the lively capital Ajaccio, Napoleón's birthplace. Spend a few days among its pastel-hued harbours before hopping back to Bordeaux, your final stop before flying back home from Paris. World-famous for its wine, Bordeaux is a UNESCO-listed love letter to the 18th century. It's Paris without the pretension, and Provence without the crowds!
