It always seems silly to write introductions about Paris. It's not really a place that needs selling.

Buuuuut the city still has some surprises up its sleeve. Who would have thought the oldest basketball court in the world would be inside a Paris YMCA? 

Or that France has a millennia-long obsession with rhinoceros art?

Or that French Bee would be offering free checked bags for a limited time?

Paris, you are truly full of wonders :-)
