Paris at $385 RT

Anyone forced to sit through The 400 Blows in college knows that Paris casts an enormous shadow on cinema history. But there's nothing like seeing the birthplace of film in person.

Any movie fan's first stop should be the collection at the Cinémathèque Française, which features century-old cameras, posters, costumes, and other artifacts from the early days of film. They do screenings there too, but if you can't find a show you like, you can always try one of the other countless arthouse theaters in Paris, like the Luxour.
