T.G.I.F. — Thank God it's fårikål!

This mutton stew is Norway's national dish. It's especially popular in autumn, when those brisk Scandinavian winds start to kick it up a notch, and cozying up to a warm bowl of stew starts looking miiiighty appealing.

Of course, no one can agree on which restaurant makes the best fårikål. Taste Atlas has collected a few recommendations, but like any cultural comfort food, you'll get the best stew if you stay with a local as their honored guest :-)
