There's no shortage of "24 hours in Mexico City" type roundups on the internet. And while a love affair with this foodie & Frida-obsessed capital should be experienced at least once, there's so much more beyond the city limits. 

And if you're the resourceful type (let’s face it, you’re shelling out for a great fare, so you must be), you'd use this deal as a launchpad to Mexico's harder-to-reach spots that rarely see a good offer.
