The arrival of autumn is nature's way of telling us to escape our northern latitudes. Fortunately, we know where to go for comfortable fall temperatures, beautiful vistas, annnd trails dating back to the 12th century that make Canadian hikes look easy. Say hello to Camino de Santiago.

If you're unacquainted, no sweat—it’s only one of the most famous pilgrimages in Europe... Since 812 AD, people from far and wide have donned their scallop shells and trekked hundreds of miles to reach the tomb of St James in Santiago, Spain.

Everyone is welcome to complete the trek, but keep in mind, it's not the kind of trip where you can Uber your way to the finish line. Think more along the lines of the old cliché… "It’s not the destination, but the journey that matters." The rewarding kind of challenge where you make lifelong connections along the way.
