Jakarta in $760s-$810s RT

Jakarta is a cool city with plenty to do, but you'll probably want to get out of the concrete jungle and into the, you know, actual jungle ASAP.

Luckily, you don't even have to venture that far, since Java's largest tropical forest is only a couple hours south of the city. And boy is it spectacular—we're talking towering mountain peaks, gorgeous waterfalls, and even an old Dutch tea farm. More good news: These dates catch the very end of Indonesia's dry season, so you can relax and experience some rainforest instead of oh-my-god-why-won't-it-stop-rainingforest.
