Sometimes you just don't wanna deal with the bargain-basement seats, long layovers and overly complicated connections...

Cue, these unusually cheap, non-stop trips to Jakarta — with five-star rated airline, Garuda Indonesia, might we add.

Now, we're not gonna shame anyone with Bali bubbling away at the top of their bucket list. Domestic flights there are reasonably priced and September is one of the best times to visit.

Buuuut this handy guide should point you in a few quieter directions, if you want an escape plan from the crowds.
