Istanbul in €80s-€150s rtn

When the late summer heat hits, here's your Istanbul plan of action...

First off, hop one of the frequent ferries over to Büyükada, the largest of the nearby Princes’ Islands. Resist the shady cafés and bougainvillea-wrapped streets for a moment, your first port of call is securing a rental bike.

The island is car-free, so the best way for you to see the most is with the wind in your hair on a set of two wheels. It's only 16 km to ride around the whole coast, but if you aren't a fan of hills, we strongly recommend opting for an e-bike.

Then away you go… And whenever you feel like a little refresher, just pull over for a quick pit stop paddle in one of the pebbled coves.
