And speaking of ducks birds things that glide through the air (whew, nailed that natural segue), this jaw-droppingly-beautiful area is only a quick little hop from where you'll touch down in Istanbul. 

Once you spend a few days exploring the questionably shaped rock formations, it's time to jet back to meander through Istanbul's insane bazaars - a direct vein to the country's intoxicating energy... not to mention their bottomless mint teas.
