And now you get to see it for yourself! The Kalispell airport is only half an hour from the park entrance, and you'll be able to taste that fresh mountain air the second you land. 

Pay attention to the seasonality of this one — available months vary a lot by route, and can make the difference between a refreshing plunge in Red Rock Point, and a snowshoe journey along Lake McDonald. And each of these routes has some late summer/early fall availability, so you can slip in during the mild shoulder season if you prefer.

Just remember to snag your vehicle reservations months in advance! They book up immediately, but there are several ways to visit without one.
