The beaches in Fiji need no introduction!

Buuuuut, if you need a break from having sand in your shoes, try heading into town. You'll find the largest Hindu temple in the Southern Hemisphere, a rainbow explosion of intricate carvings and murals called Sri Siva Subramaniya. 

It's dedicated to Murugan, god of the seasonal rains — convenient for this deal, because we've got about half and half rainy versus dry months here. November through April tends to be pretty wet in Fiji, but that doesn't have to be a deal-breaker. Your beach plans might get interrupted, but you can still do most activities, and hotels will be way cheaper.
