Crete in $540s-$690s RT

A good deal to Greece is already rare enough. But a good deal to one of the islands? Practically unheard of!

These routes are cheaper than most fares to Athens, plus they save you the 10+ hour ferry ride to Crete. Most of them even have late summer dates! Truly a unicorn of a deal.

Because there's nothing like dropping straight down into the Greek isles. Neon blue water, pale rocky cliffsides, free-flowing wine, and ruins so old you can barely comprehend their age.

Crete's landscapes are positively soaked in ancient history — the level of ancient where you might recognize the names from Greek mythology. Like Knossos, where the hero Theseus is said to have faced off with the minotaur. Unfortunately, there's no trace of a labyrinth in the area, but the surviving ruins (and their actual history) are pretty neat too :-)
