Ok, the flights are cheap, but what are the airlines actually like?

Well, if the fare you're eyeing up is with China Southern, you're in luck! Recently, Flight Finder Larissa took to the skies on her own long-haul flight with them and recorded a very honest review of the entire experience.

You can read the whole thing here, but to cut to the chase, she would definitely fly with them again. Although a little dated, her seats were comfy, there was plenty of food and drink, and all her flights departed and arrived on time.

But for anyone in Brussels hoping for a touch more luxe, you get to fly with Hainan, who have been awarded a 5-star rating from Skytax—ooh la la.

Although, just remember to take their ratings with a pinch of salt and if you do fly with them, please let us know if it lives up to its fancy reputation :-)
