Did you even go to Aruba if you didn't get an Insta photo knee-deep in crystal clear water, surrounded by neon pink birds?

Well, actually yes. 

Technically, Flamingo Beach isn't even on the main island, and the birds were just brought there for tourists. So you can feel free to give the (super expensive) day pass a miss, and spend your time wandering the ornate pastel streets, munching on flaky pastechi and soaking in the warm Caribbean breeze :-)

Hot tip: While Flamingo Beach may be skippable, but you cannot skip the scores of lesser-known beaches across the island. I mean, this video speaks for itself...
