Well, every winter in Beijing, locals head to the frozen Shichahai Lake to pedal across the frosty compact ice.

Tickets cost €13 for a 3-hour cycle session, and we'd advise arriving before 3pm to catch a crisp winter sunset.

And to thoroughly thaw out afterwards? A sizzling bowl of spicy hot pot is always a good idea :-)
