Did you know Malta is one of the best places for a lil winter holiday?

Well, the island still enjoys some warm temps at this time of year (much nicer than at home!), and since all the summer tourists have gone home, you can go and see all the famous Game of Thrones scenes crowd-free. Win, win!

If you can only go to one spot, we'd recommend Mdina — aka, the Silent City. Here you'll find three iconic filming locations, including the Mesquita Square, and the beautiful Vilhena Gate.

Not into GOT? No worries, it might be a smidge too chilly to take a dip in the glittering waters that surround you, but a sunset stroll along the serene Ghajn Tuffieha Bay is pretty hard to beat :-)
