Let's be real, most people come to Orlando just to see a certain theme park. But the House of Mouse isn't the only park worth visiting!

The Rock Spring Run in Kelly Park, for example, is a scenic, peaceful alternative to the roller coasters on the other side of the city. If you don't feel like renting a kayak and paddling down the gorgeous, 8-mile river, you can always just pick up an inner tube on the way over and float your way down in style.

You don't even have to wait in line :-)

PS: For a real Florida experience, skip the Happiest Place on Earth and head for the hoppiest instead—The Fellsmere Frog Leg Festival, held every January just south of Orlando. That is, if you think your palate can handle frog legs and gator tails.
