Australia in $810s-$850s RT

Brisbane is a great starting point for any Australian adventure. Drive south, and you'll hit the sun-drenched beaches and sprawling rainforest of the Gold Coast. Drive north to check out the famous Great Barrier Reef.

Of course, you can always stay in town and visit Jack the Ripper.

Visit his grave, anyway. Hidden away in Brisbane's Toowong Cemetery is the final resting place of one Walter Thomas Porriott, a British expat who might just have been the world's most infamous serial killer. The evidence is circumstantial but... also kind of compelling.

Saucy Jacky isn't the only ghost haunting Toowong, either. Idle at the bottom of "Spook Hill" and you might find your car rolling up the hill towards the graves of two young girls—victims of a fatal traffic accident.

San Francisco, you guys also have the option of landing in Sydney instead. It's just as haunted, but the beaches are pretty spectacular :-)
