...the Paris of the North, that is. We're talking about Tromsø here, in the land of the midnight sun (and polar night). The city is absolutely chock-full of intimate hangouts for two, from cozy cabins to candle-lit restaurants.

The real romantic kicker, though, is cuddling up under the Northern Lights. Tromsø is one of the best places in the entire world to see them, and these dates just so happen to line up with peak aurora season.

You know, maybe they should call Paris "the Tromsø of the South" instead :-)
