Stockholm in $430s-$490s RT from Portland/Seattle

Today we're delving below the surface of Stockholm... literally!

Maybe it's those chilly Swedish winters making folks want to burrow underground like a bear, but this town has quite a few subterranean sights to check out.

Starting with those eccentric metro tunnels. You've seen subway stations before, but not like this. Stockholm's stations are basically art galleries, decked out in murals and pop art installations. The most notable is Kungsträdgården, which looks like maybe the artisiest cave in the world.

Next we'll stop for dinner — viking style! Aifur is an underground restaurant serving up centuries-old cuisine. The atmosphere feels like an old viking tavern, and the menu features thematically appropriate meals like reindeer steaks and racks of lamb. Everything you could need to fuel your next raid!

And lastly, we're zooming forward to the 1950s but still staying under the Earth's surface. Ever wanted to see a nuclear reactor?
