But first, let's get real for a sec. Cuba is a beautiful country, I mean, just look at it. So of course, it deserves a spot on many of your bucket lists.

That being said, it's not a straightforward country to visit. Due to ongoing economic issues, the country is currently going through a cash shortage and power supply problems.

If you're planning to make a beeline for the coastal all-inclusive, this shouldn't affect much of your trip. But if you're planning to stay local in casa pariculars (home stays), it will be more visible.
