High-altitude street art, lush coffee plantations and tropical beaches??

...Ok, technically that last one isn't in Bogotá. But, it is one of your only gateways to the pocket-sized paradise that is San Andrés. 

With its laid-back, sun (and rum!) soaked culture, it's the ideal place to unwind after a week of explosive sightseeing in the capital.

The island itself is less than a third of the size of Paris, and renting a beach buggy for a lazy road trip around the coast is your best way of seeing it. 

But, with homemade water slides, secret pirate caves and offshore ship wrecks hiding around every corner, allow pleeeenty of time for pit stops :-)
